Blythe Valley Walk (about 9.5 miles)

This walk, originally developed for the Solihull Together Sponsored Walk 2013 and supplied courtesy of the Solihull Together team, is an excellent showcase of the south western rural fringe of Solihull borough, including the delightful Blythe Valley Country Park and the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal.

Although documented to start from the Country Park (obtain parking permit from security hut to leave a car there) it can easily be walked from the Dorridge Park Car Park (end of Arden Road) by picking up the route at Step 6 of Stage 2.

The route is documented in four two page PDF files:

Stage 1
Stage 2
Stage 3
Stage 4

There are three opportunities for refreshments along the route. If starting from Dorridge Park, the Cider House provides a convenient, almost half way, break. If starting from the Country Park, the Barn provides a just over half way, break.
