Waste and Recycling

Recycling Centre

Waste and recycling is managed by Solihull Council.

Roadside waste collections are undertaken by Enterprise with weekluy collections of general waste and fortnighly of recycling waste. Collection schedules can be found at http://ww2.solihull.gov.uk/refuse_new/Rounds08.asp.

Recycling not taken at the roadside can either be taken to the mini recycling centres in Knowle (public car parks near Tesco and Primary School also Wyndley Garden Centre and Black Boy) and Dorridge (Station overspill car park) or to the Bickenhill waste recycling centre on the A45, see http://www.solihull.gov.uk/Resident/Rubbish-recycling/recyclingcentres.

There is an assisted service for residents who are unable to place their wheelie bins and recycling boxes and sack out for collection due to infirmity or disability and there is no one else living in the property over the age of 18 capable of moving the bins or recycling containers.
